A Fruitful Summer

Greetings in Christ!

After our launch in February (2024), the Lord has graciously blessed us in many ways, from finding a meeting location to providing us with help and support. The council of Ascension Reformed Church (ARC) has sacrificially served us, and we are blessed to have ARC members worship with us each week.

We currently hold worship services weekly on Sunday evenings (6:00 PM), renting from a local Lutheran Church (WELS). Even though we are still in “Year Zero” in the church planting pilgrimage, holding Sunday evening services has been a great way for the core group to worship together, and also for visitors to join us and see what we’re all about.

Over the summer we were blessed to add five new members to our core group. They come from Roman Catholic, Lutheran, and Baptist backgrounds, but have grown to embrace the Reformed faith. We were also blessed to have a baptized, covenant youth take membership vows. Indeed, it has been an uplifting and encouraging summer!

As we enter the autumn months, the Lord has blessed us with sixteen in total membership with an average of 35-40 souls each Sunday. We’ve also started a mid-week, monthly Fellowship Group that meets for worship and edification.

Join in in giving thanks for God’s grace and kindness toward us, and continue to pray that we would grow and that He would bless our evangelistic labors.
