ABOUT OUR PASTOR

I was raised Roman Catholic, but I came to saving faith while serving as a Navy Diver in my early twenties. My wife, Traci, and I joined a small Southern Baptist church in Virginia Beach and soon after I felt called into ministry. After earning a BA in apologetics from Boyce College, my family and I relocated to Pennsylvania where I attended Westminster Theological Seminary. Upon graduation, I took a call to be the senior pastor of a Baptist church near my hometown in Kentucky. I pastored there for over three years but grew more Reformed in my convictions. In 2020 my family and I started attending Westside Reformed Church (URC) in Cincinnati, OH., and, after being examined by Classis, I was installed as a minister of Word and Sacrament on October 31, 2021. Two years later I was sent out by Westside Reformed to plant Christ Reformed Church in Northern KY. Currently, I am finishing a doctorate in Christian education, which should conclude in 2025. Traci and I homeschool our three children, Haddon, Noël, and Isaac. When I have down time I love to read, swim, cook, and watch movies with my family. My three favorite authors include Cornelius Van Til, John Bunyan, and Herman Bavinck.
